Are you looking for an appealing and unique venue for your event that you and your guests will remember for years? Imagine stepping back in to the late 1800’s in our charming and intimate winery in Grapevine!
Messina Hof is located right in the heart of the historic district in downtown Grapevine. We provide a charming 19th century feel for memorable events of any sort. Our event staff is delighted to work with you through the process of planning your meeting, wedding/reception, work luncheon, cocktail party, or a formal wait-served dinner, that will meet your needs and expectations.
We have several private event packages from showers, private tastings, to corporate events of any kind. We can customize any event to fit your needs. Just share your vision for your gathering and we’ll make it happen.
What we offer...
Catering | We work with local caterers to provide exceptional meals for your event. Together we can discuss menu options and we will work with the caterer who will best suit your event’s needs. Whether light to heavy appetizers, to lunches or dinners, we can provide delicious cuisine for you.
Bar Services | Messina Hof Grapevine Winery provides exclusively Messina Hof wines. Our private event floor of our venue has an attractive wine bar for your gathering. Our wine is priced for your event by the case in most circumstances, and included in your wine purchase with your event are your tastings and selections of the wines you want served. If you would like to offer a cash bar to your guests, we may accommodate this selection. Would you prefer a mimosa bar with your brunch, or our in-house, scratch sangria with a luncheon? We can create your wine menu for your gathering as well.
Event Packages | We offer various private event packages from small bridal or baby showers, to weddings, murder mystery dinners, wine paired dinners & cocktail parties!
Event Gifts | Do you need corporate or bridal gifts? Leave the gift giving up to us! We can wrap any single wines, or create beautiful custom gift baskets for your guests. You can also have custom labels on your Messina Hof wines for gifts!

Private Tour & Tasting with Dinner
Are you looking for something unique to do with friends? We have the solution! A fun and informative tasting and dinner where you'll learn about our Texas wine history. You and your guests will be greeted with a flute of our Texas Sparkling Brut with domestic & imported cheeses and fresh fruit. This is followed by a 3 course plated dinner paired with our wines. With each course our sommelier will talk about each individual wine and the magic of pairing. Your guests will then visit our production room for a final tasting straight from the tanks or barrels!

Private Murder Mystery Dinners

Event Floor | For the ultimate exclusivity, rent the entire floor. See information below for individual room descriptions.
Messina Room | A charming room with abundant natural light overlooking Main Street & Liberty Park, accommodates up to 24 for a seated meal. A great space for intimate dinners, lunches, engagement parties and showers, and this room is also perfect for your intimate wedding ceremony. This room can open up to combine with our Hof private event room.
Hof Room | The largest event space available, can open to combine with our Messina room. Hof has a ceiling mounted projector with large screen for various presentations. It also boasts lots of windows for natural light and overlooks Liberty Park. It can accommodate up to 40 guests for a seated meal. Combined with our Messina room, this large open room can accommodate up to 64 guests for a seated meal, or a large cocktail style party for up to approximately 90 guests.
Wallis Room | Our charming Wallis room takes you back to the late 1800’s with the vintage looking wallpaper and old world “gas” lamps. It can hold up to 24 guests for a seated meal. A flat screen TV for viewing or presentations is available for rental. Lots of natural light and views of downtown Grapevine are yours with this space! Our Wallis room can also be used as a Bride’s Room for weddings, click here to view wedding packages.
2nd Floor Veranda | The best place to be on Main Street! This 2nd floor balcony overlooks Main Street is the place to people watch, pop the question, or mingle over a glass of our award-winning wine. Bistro style seating with love seats and umbrellas makes it a fun space for gatherings. This outdoor area can be rented for private use in conjunction with our other event rooms. Imagine your guests relaxing while taking in the sights of downtown!

- Audio/Visual and PA system | $100 usage fee
This is available for you for presentations, announcements, slideshows or speeches. We will also provide you with a cordless microphone for your gathering. Please check with us on capabilities and equipment specifications.
- Outside caterers kitchen service fee | $500 plus $2.50 per plate
You are welcome to secure your own licensed caterer if you desire. Your caterer has use of our kitchen, chafers, fridge/freezer, ice machine, and china/serving items needed for your event. We will coordinate with your caterer to make your event a successful one!
- Decorating Services | $200
You’re too busy to decorate! Just drop off your tablescapes, candles and any other decorations and we’ll take care of that for you per your instructions.
